What is your PHRs and How much does it cost?

PHRs stands for Personal Health Records. By 2014, every American must have a Personal Health Records.
PHRsT is a secure and confidential interactive personal health record database online. You can create, manage, analysis and share your personal health information with your physician. You can also track your PHRs ANONIMOUSLY. There is no cost to patients and we intend to manage your record free of charge for life.

What can I do with your site?

  • You can track each office visit and what medicines works best for you and your family members;
  • You can track the immunization and dental records for you and your family memebers;
  • You can foster a good life style for your loved one by giving them a well maintained PHRs account;
  • You can track your office visits and reactions for each treatment;

  • Why your site is better than the other similar sites

    We list all popular PHRs sites at the left side of our home page for your reference. We are confident you will choose ours because:
  • Your account is fundamentally anonymous. You do not need to release any personal information to use this site. Given personal information (required for advanced user who needs telemedicine service) is optionally encrypted with your private key for maximum security;
  • Your anonymous account is still recoverable as long as you use some kind of unique information and you can approve your association with this information;
  • Data input, search and display, including the graphic display are intuitive and straight forward. There is virtually no learning curve for most users. Fault tolerance is built in so that you can learn the features of your account by trial and error without worrying about loosing your existing data;

    How to delete my account?

  • You can delete your regular account through Account Management --> Delete Account;
  • If you just want to delete your premium account, you can update your premium account with dummy data or use a private key to encrypt your premium account information.


  • Who controls the phrst.org and who is protecting the privacy of my personal health data?

    Phrst.org is owned by Redwoodland LLC, a Business Process Management consulting company in Edison, NJ. We took fundamental approach to protect your privacy by storing the least amount of personal information that is necessary to document your health condition. Your privacy is no longer at risk because nobody is able to identify you by the information you stored in our database. Armed with our special encryption schema, it is virtually impossible for anyone to restore even an anonymous bio record, assuming he has temperately access our database.

    Who can view my records and how do I know who has seen it?

    You have total control of your data and you provide access privileges to your doctors. For each telemedicine request, your chosen doctor can access your patient note and all the Lab results up to the completion time of the latest telemedicine service provided by this doctor. You can tell any unauthorized account visit by viewing the "Account last accessed by" time stamp displayed on the header portion of each page.

    Why should I have PHRs record online?

    While most people may not have major medical conditions, there is basic information that should be accessible for emergencies. This would include insurance information, allergies, vaccinations, emergency contact information. Keeping personal health record persistent is also a very good way to educates the kids to have good health habit, just like teach them saving will benefit them in the long run, encourage them to manage their PHRs will help them become more responsible and live a healthier life.

    What is the difference for your basic account and premium account?

    Basic account will let you keep your PHRs online anonymously.
    Premium account will let you use telemedicine feature without input your personal data every time. Please notice that your sensitive personal data with premium account is saved in encryption form using your private key. Without your private key, virtually nobody is able to decode your stored information.

    What is Data Encryption and Private Key?

    ENCRYPTION is the process of modifying or changing (SCRAMBLING) the actual data into another form, so that another person can understand it only by unscrambling it with the correct DECRYPTION KEY. A private key is a decryption key that only the owner knows.

    What happens to my PHRs record if I change jobs, insurance plans, doctors, state of residence, etc.?

    Your phrst.org account is yours to keep. You will have access to your account as long as you have internet access. Phrst.org has planned to integrate its record with all major players in this field and make your record really portable if you choose to do so.

    What if I mistype the information in my records; can I make changes?

    Once you have created your personal phrst.org account, you can make most changes you deem necessary through the Account Management pages. A few things not allow to be changed are gender, blood type and birth year.

    How does information in my phrst.org account get updated?

    Your phrst.org account must be initiated by you and only by you. Therefore, you are responsible to make your account updated. Your insurance company will eventually be able to update your account if you choose to let them do so.

    What if I build a phrst.org account and then just forget about it?

    Phrst.org will keep any inactive account for at least ten years. In January each year, phrst.org will also send out a reminder email, if you did leave us an optional email, to any account that is inactive for 12 months.

    How does the information get to my physician?

    As the owner of your interactive Personal Health Record, you decide which of your physicians will have access to view your record. Your chosen doctor will be able to access your records up to the point for his/her last telemedicine service is completed.

    What are the computer/internet requirements to use this system?

    phrst.org works best when used with Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 6.0 or higher; Firefox 3.0 or higher. Both browsers support the 128-bit security encryption level required to access all the website features. Javascript must be enabled on your browser.

    I need to input a test result, but I cannot find if from your drop down selections, what can I do?

    Please let us know at admin@phrst.org and we will get it implemented within one week.

    I need to input a vaccine from your addVaccine.php page, but you does not have a listing for this vaccine, what can I do?

    You can use the quick input form in page phpshowVaccines.php to do the input. Currently, we are not able to find a complete listing for the vaccine information. You are welcome to contribute by let us know the basic information for your vaccine. As soon as we verify the information, we will post it on our website to benefit other people. You can optionally choose to leave your name in that section as well.



    Physician Asked Questions

    Medem, based in San Francisco and incorporated in 1999, has worked with the major US liability carriers to create the guidelines for patient-physician communication via the internet--the eRisk Guidelines. These guidelines make it clear that the existence of an online personal health record in no way diminishes the need for the patient to provide information directly to the treating physician.
